Dear colleagues in the EQF
project EQF Hair Work Package 2
Work Package 1 has now made a comparison between the European hairdressing certificate and EQF, and, as appears from the appendix enclosed, found that the European standard corresponds to EQF 5.
It is now your task to make a similar comparison between your national hairdressing training programme and EQF and the European standard to find out where your training programme is placed in relation to the parameters in the EQF system, and which Work Package 1 has found to exist between the European training programme and EQF.
This means: You are to find out at the level at which your national training programme is convertible into the EQF system and the European standard.
Since Work Package 1 has found that the European standard corresponds to EQF 5, a comparison between your national training programme and EQF will quickly be able to tell you whether your national training programme lives up to the parameters in the European training programme.
The enclosed material from Work Package 1 will show in red the parameters in the European standard that substantiate the position in the table, whereas the EQF parameters are in black.
